Uuuuuhm.... Little Help?
So, I think I lost a contact in my eye. I don't really know how it happened. I went to take my contacts out last night, and couldn't find my right one. So I just went to sleep. Still no dice. I can't really feel anything in my eye, though I'm psyching myself out into thinking that I can. Any pointers? Is this something that, ya know, happens? Has this happened to anyone else? Do I just wait it out, or do I go to my eye doctor? This is weird.

This has happened to my aunt a number of times. She's been to the doctor about it and he can't get them out.

This happens to me all the time because my eyes are so dry and my contacts always rip so I get particles of contacts stuck in my eye. JUst keep rubbing your eyelid around and around for awhile, your contact only perfectly fits on the front of your eye, so it won't stay in any other position the way it stays on your cornea. If it's in there, it will pop up. sometimes it takes awhile. Do you recall an instance where it could have ripped?
Hmmmmm... I've never experienced this, but took care of some athletes who did. One of them just had the contact fall out, but didnt know it, and there was nothing in there. Another one had it stuck but could feel it... it's weird you cant feel it, because when mine go off to the side or something it irritates me like CRAZY. I'd just wear the glasses for a bit, if nothing comes out in the next day or so, try to put in another one. If you dont feel comfortable doing it, just run to your eye doctor. Hope this helps!
