Dammit, pick a new weekend people!
OK, listen up. There are other days to hold social events this summer than July 14. FOR THE LOVE! Months ago I signed on to not only my boss' 50th bday party, but Stacy's mom's 60th as well. Things I've had to turn down on that date include:
- 3 engagement parties
- A bridal shower
- A bachelorette party
- 2 other bday parties
- A pig roast
- A going away party
- A trip to the beach

People are just aching to celebrate Bastille Day, I guess.

Interesting though--we were able to schedule a cake tasting appointment that morning because apparently July 14 is a very light wedding day in Charlotte....maybe its a regional thing?
