Because I'm not so cool as I used to be
And rarely follow up on actually listening to bands that I hear about, I just now, today, this afternoon, listened to Vampire Weekend (see: every music blog in the world, many months ago). Hey guess what? I really like it! But more than that, I like this new video of theirs. I like it a lot. Particularly the swimming fishy glove/bubbles part. [via emo+beer=busted career]

They play Feb. 6th at the R&R Hotel. Get tix while they last.
I was skeptical after they got such crazy blog buzz (crabluzz?). However, the songs are good. Well, maybe not the one with the World Music vibe but the others are fun.
The propper term for blog buzz, as coined by Ryan Avent in 2005, is "bluzz."
I'll definitely try and make it to that show. Thanks!
