This May Be Blasphemous
But, I'm not all that impressed with the new Arcade Fire tracks. I keep trying to get on board and feeling pretty "oh. meh." about both of them. Anybody else feeling this way? Or am I officialy tendering my resignation from the music blogger sphere?

Overated band with an overated album. The quintessential example (well, maybe Bright Eyes is THE quintessential example) of something that will be a humorous bit of nostalgia for many music geeks in ten years when they think about the silly shit they bought into in their twenties.
'Black Mirror' is pretty good and 'Body in a Cage' not so much. 'Intervention' and 'No Cars Go' are both quality and have been around a bit. So that leaves six tracks unturned and a whole lot of explanation left to go.
Did I say explanation? I mean expectation.
